Colchester's Lions aligned under Sovereign Land's asset management

Red Lion Yard and Lion Walk once formed a Roman road, running through Colchester. Like all Roman roads, it was straight. Today there is no uniformity of the two pedestrianised shopping streets. Lion Walk has multiple retailers such as Topshop in a 1970s shopping development, while Red Lion Yard has empty shops interspersed with successful independently owned retailers.
