Jones Lang LaSalle is taking over the management of an $840m US property fund and is planning to expand it internationally. JLL the investment adviser to the Excelsior LaSalle Property Fund, is taking over the management of the fund as well from Bank of America Capital Advisors. It is aiming to list the fund and change its name to Jones Lang LaSalle Income Property Trust. Lunn Thurber, the executive chairman of LaSalle Investment Management, has been appointed chairman of the fund's board. Allan Swaringen has been appointed CEO and Gregory Falk has been appointed chief financial officer and treasurer.
