Regal reveals debut PRS scheme

Regal Homes has revealed plans for its first private-rented scheme in Daltson, east London. It will create 101 private rental units at the site on Dalston Lane, as rents continue to rise across the London Borough of Hackney. Between 2012 and 2013 rents rose by 10%-15% across the borough, according to the valuation office. It is anticipated that all the units will remain within Regal Homes' rental portfolio for a significant period following completion. The scheme has been shortlisted to receive a proportion of the government's £200m "build to rent" fund.
