CSX Corp. and the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) opted to suspend a National Environmental Policy review process for four sites chosen for a proposed intermodal facility in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., area. Instead, they will pursue an evaluation process that includes the redevelopment of existing yards in Baltimore.
