Manley St. Denis

Manley St. Denis was born in 1910 in Trieste, which at that time was a part of Austria-Hungary. While still a boy, his family moved to the United States, where he was educated and spent the rest of his life. In his early years, he is said to have aspired to become one of the great soccer players in Europe. He went on to become a foil fencing champion in New England.
