Applying BIM to a 246m high tower built with slip forming

摘要

This paper presented the case study of planning a 250m high-rise building using Building Information Modelling. The paper focused on its application in structural design. The paper showed that BIM was successfully applied to resolve a wide range of design issues. Using a virtual building model demonstrates the importance and the advantage of having one consistent set of information and thus providing the construction site with consistent design and procurement documents.
