Corrugated Board - New Flutes for Lightweight Papers

On the basis of new corrugated board designs, Prowell is the first manufacturer of corrugated board in Europe to provide its customers with a complete range of different varieties based on lightweight papers. The prerequisite for this was to develop new flute geometries. Together with machine suppliers and representatives from the world of science, extensive development and improvement work was done in order to obtain more knowledge about the structure and geometry of corrugated board and the arrangement of the lightweight papers with several corrugated profiles and to confirm these findings in practical experiments.
