Those are the subjects covered in this issue of Steamboat Bill.rnIn the Winter 2008/2009 issue we brought you the history of the Queen : Elizabeth 2 along with accounts of two of her last voyages. In this issue, we bring down the curtain on her career as a seagoing vessel with Stanley Haviland's first-hand illustrated account of her delivery voyage to her new owners in Dubai. We are also fortunate to have an account penned by retired Cunard Line Commodore Ronald Warwick who came out of retirement to serve as QE2s captain for the period immediately following her arrival in Dubai. Her many admirers will now no doubt be awaiting developments concerning her future.
