When NV Energy Generation Executive Dariusz Rekowski gets excited about something, his voice tends to speed up-and when talking about NV Energy's project at the Edward W. Clark Generating Station in Las Vegas, his words come as fast as the temperature drops on a desert night. "We doubled the generation of the facility from 600 to 1100 MW, and we cut emissions by half," he said. "In 10 minutes, it can put 600 MW on the system. That is a great story for us, so we're proud of it."
