You're Asking Me to do WHAT?

While hard at work, the boss calls for an immediate meeting in his office. He asks that the door be closed and begins to explain what he needs done for the benefit of the company. While listening, the following question comes to mind: Did my employer just ask me to do something illegal:'You know what's right, but then the reality of a tight job market comes to mind and you wonder, "What should I do?" Many of us will be faced with such a situation during our careers. It is a difficult situation, and often portends serious trouble no matter what you do. We fear what our boss may think or how he may respond if we say no to him/her. It feels like it could be a threat to our career.
