As a key remediation team member and Pay-for-Performance contractor, Environmental Remediation and Financial Services LLC (ERFS) of Sea Girt, N. J., has been successful in treating chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) in the 0.25-acre former source area of this Superfund site in Southern New Jersey. The site is a former truck washout facility were chlorinated solvents were rinsed into the subsurface. Soils are described as sand with silt and some clay, with abundant glauconite. Groundwater is encountered at 16 ft bgs in the unconfined surface aquifer. Treatment is focused on the 10 to 35 ft bgs interval.
