ABUTEC has a long history of supplying environmental solutions to waste gas issues. The recent installation at Indonesia's largest and most successful State-Owned Oil and Gas Enterprise may have the biggest operational and humanitarian impact, though. Over the last decade the facility located in Mudi, Tuban have grown to produce huge amounts of toxic and sour gas making the emissions a growing concern. The traditional, large pipe flares, historically used to mediate the emissions by burning the excess gas, has turned into one of the biggest problem areas for the operator.
