The Police Service is to appoint a team of senior commanders who will lead and shape the future of frontline district policing across Northern Ireland.rnThe posts, which are at Chief Superintendent level, are open to internal and external candidates.rnAdvertisements are being placed this week in specialist police publications here, in Great Britain and in the Republic of Ireland.rnThe move is part of the Service's response to the Review of Public Administration.
