CHIEF CONSTABLE PRAISES POLICE OFFICERS, STAFF AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES

As the Chief Constable attends the monthly public meeting of the Northern Ireland Policing Board, he spoke of the recent publication of the quarterly update of perceptions of Policing, Justice and Anti Social Behaviour and the good work ongoing in communities. "The proportion of people who believe that the police are doing a good job in Northern Ireland has increased by 3.6% to 70.4% (July 10 - June 11)*. I am heartened by this figure as I go to the Northern Ireland Policing Board monthly meeting.
