This paper indicates the context of the lifelong learning process of police officers in Poland, including the need to adapt to changing social conditions. Systematic participation in the improvement process becomes crucial in order to increase police officersâ vocational qualifications, improve their effectiveness while performing tasks, improve professionalism, productivity and most importantly ensure social security.
