25 nuclear newcomers invited to next ministerial meeting of GNEP

Twenty-five new countries, most of them from the developingnworld and all currently without nuclear power plants,nhave been invited to the next ministerial meeting of thenGlobal Nuclear Energy Partnership, or GNEP, in ParisnOctober 1, according to organizers of the meeting.nIf all the invitees attend and join the partnership, GNEPnmembership would more than double in size. New membersncould include Cameroon, Bangladesh, Malaysia, SaudinArabia, Tanzania, and Yemen.
