The comment period on a proposed 690-MW utility-scale solar generating facility in Nevada will end September 5, according to the US Bureau of Land Management, which has been evaluating what could eventually become the US’ largest solar generating facility. The Gemini Solar Project, which has been proposed by Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners and Arevia Power, is projected to be built on 7,100 acres of BLM-administered lands approximately 33-miles northeast of Las Vegas and just south of the Moapa River Indian Reservation in Clark County.
