ERCOT dailies rise to the $50s/MWh on record Nov demand, low wind, $4/MMBtu gas prices

Day-ahead and balance-of-the-week prices both rose Monday in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas region on expected record demand, lower wind generation and natural gas prices that are expected to rise later this week. On Intercontinental Exchange, ERCOT North Hub day-ahead on-peak prices jumped more than $13 day on day to be traded in the low $50s/MWh, with balance-of-the-week on-peak prices in the high $50s/MWh.
