Interior, Native Americans at odds over proposed trust fund assessment

The Interior Department proposed a plan last week for assessing how much money it owes individual Native Americans for allowing oil and gas drilling and other energy projects to take place on their lands over many decades. But lawyers representing the Indians are already criticizing Interior's accounting approach.
