Indonesia's government has decided to mandate a price cut for the natural gas that state-owned gas transmission and distribution company Perusahaan Gas Negara sells to its industrial customers, but has not yet decided by how much, according to deputy energy and mines minister Rudi Rubiandini. "The price of $10.20/MMBtu is very expensive as PGN buys the natural gas from upstream [producers] at about $5-6/MMBtu.
