Krk to host Adria LNG terminal

The Croatian government is likely to propose Dina on the island of Krk off the country's Adriatic coast as the future site for the planned Adria LNG terminal to its potential partners, according to local media reports in early September. Dina, which is located in the municipality of Omisalj, was selected as the best location for the planned 10-15 billion cubic metre/year plant from a list of eight potential sites by a government-appointed commission. The other sites studied by the commission were Podubac, Socaj, Srscica, Ubac, Uvala Zagrob and the Plomin and Rijeka thermal power plants.
