London-listed Sibir Energy said February 14 it has been granted 10 months to resolve issues raised by Russian authorities following a government inspection at two of its fields in Western Siberia. The issues relate mainly to submission of documents and utilization of associated natural gas.rnEnvironmental watchdog Rosprirodnadzor had earlier that week sent details of the audit to the license termination committee within the Natural Resources Ministry, raising fears over the license.rnThe audit was conducted on the Yuzhnoye and Orkhovskyoe fields operated by Sibir subsidiary Magma, the company said. Rosprirodnadzor's audit showed Sibir had produced almost 20% more oil at Yuzhnoye in 2005 than agreed under the license.
