MVM Trade, the wholesale trading arm of state-owned Hungarian power group MVM, sold July 7 just over 2 TWh of electricity for 2010 delivery, at the first of three capacity auctions planned for this year. MVM Trade said in a statement that it had auctioned off 200 MW of base load capacity, amounting to 1,752 GWh over the course of next year. The product was sold at Forint 15.20/kWh (€54.68/MWh at July 7's exchange rate), a price which MVM said was in line with market expectations.
