JWC plans 230-MW wind project

Poland's largest homebuilder, JW Construction, is planning to invest Zloty 1 billion ($321 million) in a 230-MW wind farm in northwestern Poland, the company's main shareholder, Jozef Wojciechowski said July 10. If it goes ahead the project, which would consist of 100, 2.3-MW turbines, would be the largest in the country. Wojciechowski plans to build the wind farm on a 2,500 hectare site in Nowogard, Pomerania.
