ECSEE calls for dispute resolution

The dispute between the Macedonian state and EVN Macedonia has now attracted the interest of energy ministers of the Energy Community of South East Europe, who called on Macedonia to resolve the issue in the interest of the country's energy sector. The Ministerial Council of the Energy Community expressed "concern about the pending cases against Macedonia and the consequences for investment in the energy sector of that country". In conclusions from a June 26 meeting in Sarajevo, the Council emphasized the importance of the dispute settlement procedure for achieving the objectives of the Energy Community.
