Contractors sought to build Mtkvari

Mtkvari HPP LLC, a subsidiary of Caucasus Energy and Infrastructure, a Georgian-based energy group, has invited expressions of interest by July 23 to participate in the construction of the 38- to 42-MW Mtkvari hydropower project on the Mtkvari River in southern Georgia. The company last month also invited expressions of interest by July 20 for the supply of turbines, generators and regulating systems for the project in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region, near the border with Turkey.
