MVM sells 246 GWh of Q3 power

MVM Trade, the wholesale trading arm of Hungarian power group MVM, said June 6 it had sold a total of 246 GWh for delivery in the third quarter of 2012 in its latest capacity auction.For the month of July, MVM Trade auctioned 90 MW available on working days at 0000-2000, equivalent to 40 GWh, for a price of Forint 15,767 ($65.79, €52.58) per MWh. It also sold 70 MW available on July working days at 0000-2100, totaling 32 GWh, for Forint 15,753/ MWh.For the first week of August, MVM auctioned 200 MW of capacity available on working days between 0000-2000, equivalent to 24 GWh, for a price of Forint 14,929 per MWh. For September, MVM Trade sold 200 MW of baseload capacity delivered on working days, totaling 96 GWh, for Forint 17,807 per MWh; as well as 150 MW available on working days at 0000-1800, translating to 54 GWh, for Forint 17,077/MWh.
