HEP Proizvodnja, the generation arm of Croatia's state power company HEP, published a tender June 6 for the development of a feasibility study for a new combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) unit at its Zagreb CHP plant.Bids for the contract, which has an estimated value of Kuna 1.7 million ($281,438) (excluding VAT), are due by June 26. The deadline for the completion of the study is March 31, 2013.The new CCGT unit is expected to have an installed capacity of 100-150 MWe in condensation regime, or 75 MWe to 100 MWe in open cycle. The new unit will replace the 12.5-MWe, 33-MWth unit A at CHP Zagreb, which was commissioned in 1969, and will use the existing technical infrastructure and part of its technological facility.
