I have the pleasure to introduce Ms Madeleine Spencer who will accompany the Plant Breeding and Genetics subprogramme as a consultant for six months. Ms Spencer had served eight years at the IAEA as a Technical Officer and Research Coordinator, being efficiently involved in the organization and implementation of the Plant Breeding and Genetics subprogramme activities. She based her job on her research and teaching expertise to ensure the efficient and effective development and implementation of research projects, trainings and scientific as well as technical knowledge dissemination, and assisting in the evaluation and implementation of technical cooperation for IAEA and FAO.
