FLYBY

I've been flying for over 20 years. My usual run is a Denver departure at 9pm, fly to Billings, on to Cheyenne and then back to Denver by Sam. I fly a King Air 350. I love my career and I pride myself on doing the best job I possibly can. Last time out, however, I was making lots of little mistakes. I was cleared for the ILS Runway 35R into Denver, but I couldn't pick up ATIS. That's when I looked at my radios and noticed I had dialed in the wrong frequency. I glanced again and dialed in the right frequency. I continued through my checklist and set my Radar Altimeter to 5500 feet.
