A simple approach to hot tap and repair sleeve welding

CONSIDERABLE RESEARCH and development directed at addressing the concerns for welding onto inservicenpipelines has taken place over the past two decades. To the novice, implementing the results ofnthis research and development might seem like a daunting task. A simple approach to hot tap and repair sleevenwelding that can be implemented on an individual operating company basis is outlined.
