Weatherford has successfully introduced their New Generation UT ILI Pigs to the market. Improved defect detecting and sizing parameters were proved by both a thorough testing program and by successful field trials. Significant improvement in the quality of the ILI data will ensure that these tools will be better suited for operating in the most challenging pipeline conditions (high internal wall roughness, heavy crude oil, sea water, etc.).
