Make fine paper from the whole tree? What about coffee table books from old directories? Maybe that's a stretch, but groundwood and other traditionally lower end furnishes are moving up into higher value grades. Lightweight coated (LWC) producers are making higher quality products to compete with lower end coated freesheet; and newsprint and SC producers are stepping into LWC territory by upgrading their processes.
