Co-defendant challenges PADEP veil piercing while blaming co-defendant owner for alleged actions at site

Two parties claiming an interest in a company are separately challenging on Feb. 2 the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's motion to hold the company, Trainer Custom Chemical LLD (TCC), and each of them liable under CERCLA for costs related to cleanup of a site in the Borough of Trainer and the City of Chester. The case is in federal court for the District of Pennsylvania. Defendants James Hunter and James Halkias each oppose piercing the corporate veil of TCC, to which each claims to be party.
