Using RasPi as a VPN Server

We begin by configuring the RasPi with the appliance and then we shall configure a client machine to connect to the VPN. But before we begin a word of caution. If you are configuring this appliance at home or at a place where you don't have a static public IP address, then you can only use this appliance by using a service like DynDNS which lets you configure a DNS name and point it to a device which gets a dynamic public IP. We have already discussed about DynDNS in the other article called 'Rigging up RasPi'. Assuming you have a DynDNS or a public IP handy, here is how you setup the appliance.
