Heliostar S and Miraflex C are two new printing presses which were presented by Windmoeller & Holscher (W&H), the former for the first time ever. The latter made its debut at interpack. Fast, reliable job changeovers are the hallmark of the new Heliostar S rotogravure press. The SL version is available as a shaftless cylinder model and the SH version uses hollow sleeves. It can be fitted with up to 12 print stations which are designed for maximum printing speeds of up to 400m/min. This rotogravure press is ideal for cost-effective printing of flexible packaging materials such as plastic films, paper, aluminium foil or laminates. Maximum printing width is 1 300mm with a print repeat of 920mm.
