Established in 1996, Plastop KZN was developed as a hole-in-the-wall operation for Unilever, as a supply base for its Maydon Wharf personal care factory in Durban. The 8 000m~2 climate-controlled plant is one of a few operations in SA that offers both injection blow moulding and extrusion blow moulding.rnThis sophisticated set up manufactures a large share of Unilever's personal care business and is an innovative partner in the ongoing global and local rollout of new products. Plastop KZN was instrumental in the development of the Alcaball project - now a benchmark design in the industry.
