The new Amcor Light range of environmentally friendly films is suitable for fresh and dairy applications, reportedly offering optimum weight while retaining visual appearance and sealing integrity. The films reduce packaging weight and cradle-to-gate carbon footprint by up to one third compared to standard films, the company says, and offers solutions for flowpack as well as lidding applications. Families in the brand include OPA Light and OPET Light.
