First applications of the Genesis HLA federates generator

The GENESIS ?HLA federates generator? is an upstream studies project (PEA) financed by the DSP/ STTC, which ended in 2005. The software tool deve-loped during this project has been profitably used in a number of varied contexts, thus giving a concrete demonstration of its capabilities. The purpose here is to summarize the results obtained, as well as the changes made to the GENE5IS tool since its first version.Let us first recall that HLA (High Level Architecture) simulations are distributed simulations (i.e. performed on several machines connected in a network). It consists of a standard and software resources deve-loped by the American Department of Defense, which replaces an older standard called DIS.
