Investing in Yourself Through Education and Training

From the Montgomery GI Bill to certificates of military training transferable to civilian employment, educational opportunities in the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard are plentiful and they're getting better by the day. The Sea Services will now cover a large portion of the costs of your outside education and training, whether you decide to further your education while still in the service, or after you've put away your uniform for the last time. It is up to the individual service member to seize the opportunities afforded to him or her and make the most of them. This issue of OnWatch highlights just some of the outstanding choices available to the military service member.
