Porto Central offers owners alternative offshore base

With a superb location right in front of the Campos Basin and well placed for the Espfrito Santo Basin to the north, companies setting up offshore support bases (OSBs) in the Porto Agu complex - which covers some 90km~2-are preparing to take over much of the business that currently goes to the cramped OSBs in Macae, 145 km to the west, and to those in Guanabara Bay, near downtown Rio de Janeiro, and Niteroi, 342km and 322km away respectively.
