Perry Slingsby Systems Deepwater Education Center Completes 1st Training Class in Houston

Perry Slingsby Systems (PSS) has announced that the new state-of-the-art Deepwater Education Center in Houston, has completed its 1st four-week Intervention Systems training class. The training program curriculum has been developed in partnership with the University of Houston, College of Technology. On successful completion of the program, students are awarded a certificate by PSS and the University of Houston.rnSuperior Offshore International, a leading provider of sub sea construction services to the worldwide oil and gas industry, was the first ROV-operating contractor to graduate its ROV personnel from all four of PSS's intervention modules. "It is critical that each of our ROV personnel is qualified to operate and comprehensively manage the XLS systems," said Hamish Thomsen, ROV Manager for Superior Offshore International. "The completion of these modules by our ROV personnel, pre sents a level of certification in-house and to our clientele."
