NHS bullying concerns

One in eight NHS employees in England experi- enced harassment or bully- ing from their manager last year, according to the 2015 NHS Staff Survey. The survey, published by NHS England and the Picker Institute and based on nearly 300,000 responses from staff in 297 NHS organisations, also found that less than half of all staff who said they had experienced bullying and har- assment had reported it. Fifteen per cent of staff reported that they had experienced physical violence from patients, relatives or members of the public in 2015.
