Proponents of plans to build a deep geologic repository (DGR) near the Bruce Power nuclear site in Kincardine hope for an answer from the federal government on an Environmental Assessment by the summer, according to Fred Kuntz, Manager of Corporate Relations, Ontario Power Generation who provided an update to Saugeen Shores councillors at their Nov. 28 committee of the whole meeting.
