In memoriam

摘要

On the 12th of October 2019, Dr. Habil. Prof. Eugenijus Ušpuras, the head of the Nuclear Installations Safety Laboratory, Director (2004-2014) and Chairman of the Scientific Council (2000-2004 and 2014-2019) of the Lithuanian Energy Institute, and a full member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences passed away unexpectedly. In his life he contributed significantly to the promotion and implementation of scientific ideas, their consolidation at international level.
