With a KRW1.09 trillion bid (81.4% of the presumed value), Hyundai E&C won the contest to build the new NPP over rivals lead by Daewoo, Samsung and Daelim.rnHyundai E&C is currently the main contractor for the construction of Shin-Kori units 1 and 2 and Shin-Kori units 3 and 4, and has built 12 of the nation's 22 nuclear power plants. Hyundai E&C leads the consortium with 45%; other members are SK E&C (30%), and GS E&C (25%).
