Lady Ann Mary Shuttleworth, wife of the fifth Baron Gawthorpe, has been appointed to the BNFL Board. As well as being active in the family farming business, she has just completed ten years as chairman of the Lancashire Community Council, and is currently chairman of Wennington Hall special school governors and of Lune Valley Rural Housing Association. Dr Brian Eyre has been re-appointed as a full-time Member of the UKAEA Board for one year from 1 May 1995.
