My challenge when walking through the door of the NDA last year was quite simple: "to create a 'world class' graduate programme," a programme that could take on the likes of Shell, PWC, Airbus and Accenture. Battling for the best talent in the UK and Europe's best universities has become increasingly difficult over the last decade, particularly the competition for students doing 'STEM' subjects, (science, technology engineering, and maths).rnThe other challenge was to make this an industry-facing programme built as a feeder not just for us but for the SLC's, Supply Chain, regulators and Government, creating a generation of work-ready graduates who had experience.
