A three-day technical conference consisting of presentations from distinguished professionals within the nuclear industry will be held at EDF Energy's Barnwood office. Speakers will include Stuart Crooks, managing director of EDF Energy Generation, and Riccardo Chiarelli, senior manager and WANO (World Association of Nuclear Operators) Young Generation leader. The conference is followed by two one-day tours of both the JET fusion reactor and Hinkley Point B nuclear power station. Attendees will be exposed to the past, present and future of nuclear power production, as well as being given the opportunity to network with other nuclear professionals over a dinner. The event is ideal for technical delegates new to or curious about the nuclear industry.
