President's page: Investing in the future of the nuclear sector

The Nuclear Institute is delighted to see that one of its Fellows, Dr Fiona Rayment of NNL, has been awarded an OBE in the Queen's birthday honours list. Fiona has been an inspirational member of the Nuclear Institute and a highly valued colleague on its board of trustees for some time, as well as a strong supporter of the Institute and its volunteers and members. As a highly respected nuclear professional her skills are much in demand and we are grateful for the time and support she gives to her colleagues through chairing the Nuclear Institute Enterprises Board and the Nuclear Institute's events committee. Fiona is a great role model for our Young Generation Nuclear (YGN) professionals to aspire to.
